to Home Education Workshop
This FREE workshop
is chock full of home schooling information.
It is intense and packed with lots of information.
Though the workshop is not really geared for
children, they are welcome to come. As a nonprofit
organization we are here to assist you in your
choice to home school. As home educators ourselves,
our hopes are for you to gain confidence and
learn the many resources available to you. Come
and learn the many tricks of the trade from
veteran home educators who will be there to
answer your questions.

Base: Thinking About Home Schooling
Homeschooling
is not necessarily the best option for everyone;
still, it's such a fabulous alternative that
no one should reject it without first researching
this unique way of schooling.
This course will provide you with the basic
fundamentals of homeschooling. We will provide
you in-depth and comprehensive information needed
to help you succeed in schooling your children
at home. Major topics include: Arizona law and
how to comply, how to get started, socialization,
setting goals, teaching and learning styles,
creating and organizing your day, choosing curriculum
to match your child’s needs, finding resources,
developing lessons plans, record keeping and
more!
Note: Any reading on homeschooling would be
helpful. Each participant will receive a course
workbook that will contain check-off lists,
copies of reusable forms, numerous helpful tips
and invaluable resources.

Base: How Does a Home Schooler Get Into College?
No
longer are homeschoolers having to pound on
the admission doors of colleges and universities
pleading, “Let us in.” Today, leading
schools across America are pleading, “Please
come in!” After all, the secret is out
– homeschoolers bring a strong academic
education as well as an acquired love for learning
to any college or university they attend. Thus,
many schools are aggressively seeking out homeschooled
students.
We will answer the many questions associated
with preparing homeschooler for college, from
laying a good foundation to customizing your
child’s coursework to fit their goals.
This innovative comprehensive course will provide
you with practical, hands-on information for
preparing your students through high school
for college and/or career. Topics include: Coursework,

Requesting Applications and Information, Career
